This was published in a local newspaper saying, "Giant Push Ball in Orbit: Highball gymnastics at Thornwood Junior High School keep muscles trim in a new coed game which has no official name. The trick is to keep the giant pushball (about four feet in diameter) in orbit through the use of feet only. Use of hands disqualifies a player. Position is described as "like a crab on its back with feet in the air." The ball serves a double purpose in that the older students kick and the younger ones push. The ball can also be rolled by teams of two if pushing or kicking balls." Provided by Kaye Boyer Vassilos '64
